I've just managed to pick up my third buy on the transfer market following the £3.25mil sale of Killen - paid £300k for..........

Plays For: Matts Monkeys
Nationality: New Zealand
Age: 20 Years Old
Battrick Rating: 7,641 (+12)
Wages: £1,147 p/w

Stamina: mediocre      Wicket Keeping: feeble
Batting: respectable    Concentration: woeful
Bowling: mediocre      Consistency: respectable
Fielding: worthless

Ok, so fielding is worthless but to be honest in todays over inflated transfer market i figure that if one of my 11 players cant field then ho hum. Its coming up to the end of the season and i dont really have any important games to play so i'm free to put him in nets til the beginning of next season. while 20-21 years old it'll only take 4-4&1/2 weeks to improve the secondary skills while putting in fielding and WK net at same time so in 12 weeks or so i will have his concentration upto competent and by then his batting should be up to proficient. At the same time his bowling will be competent with strong or even suberb consistency. 12 weeks on stamina net also and that will be up to respectable.

I think i've picked up a bargain given the prices of others on the market Smiley

right i'm going to go pay attention in the sunday million now i've survived the first hour donk-a-thon instead of trawling the battrick transfer market! Cheesy

I'd just give him a fielding net for longer than a fielding + WK net.

was looking at that on training speeds and calculated that it would take an extra 6 weeks to get his concentration upto competent and consistency upto superb - my plan is to get him there before start of next season and to be honest i'm not using my WK net for anyone at moment.

I'd prefer the extra 6 weeks of fielding rather than WK though personally.

Bought this bloke for 300k. Purely using him for profit ( unless he turns into a damn good allrounder)

LH Batsman, LF Bowler, worthless batting form, worthless bowling form, sublime
A  destructive player with proficient leadership skills and abysmal experience.

Plays For:    Staples015
Nationality:    Australia
Age:    19 Years Old
Battrick Rating:    5,746 (-88)
Wages:    £1,217 p/w
Stamina:    respectable    Wicket Keeping:    worthless
Batting:    respectable    Concentration:    woeful
Bowling:    competent    Consistency:    abysmal
Fielding:    worthless

Have a few spare nets so thinking 1 batting, 1 fielding, 1 keeping. maybe 1 bowling as well. got till Monday to decide

Form is temporary, if it's a concern you can whack them in for friendlies until it picks up - others may leave them alone and makes them cheaper.

Nice buy for £6k!
