Lots of unfounded talk based on the fact there's a press conference tomorrow.  Probably about the Porto game.

Well, I hope it is.

Rafa is starting to sound like a guy who's been given the nod Barca or Real will be looking for a new manager soon.

They don't usually call press conferences to scotch rumours.  Most clubs would have to schedule them for every twenty minutes.  Don't think it'll be to announce his departure either.  Managers don't usually call press conferences at their clubs to announce they're resigning do they?  Usually they do it on their drive-ways if at all.  It's probably just so Rafa can make it clear that he's focused on training and coaching his team.

I do think he'll leave though and sooner rather than later.  McClaren would be a great replacement in my opinion.  I think if you look at his record at Middlesbrough he'd be perfect.  I am speaking from the point of view of an Arsenal fan though.  Bloody horrible state of affairs if you're a scouser.

they were talking on the radio about the odds on the next manager to go with Benitez vying for favouritism with Billy Davies. Davies won however so i'm guessing that the next book will have Benitez as clear favourite Smiley
