another thing I'd love to try is ice climbing - anyone else done it?
ive done a little practice on a mountain glacier but rather than climb, the first lesson was to learn how to stop yourself with your ice axe should you ever fall and start sliding:) It was great fun and I reckon it would be a good way to spend a day

yep - if i can find somewhere to do it and someone to go with! They had an ice wall at Somerset House with the ice rink a couple of years ago, and was going to do it then, but didn't get round to it. Doesn't look like they've got one this year
