Good start here. Batting first on a green pitch, partially cloudy and windy and I'm 132-1 at lunch, Kerwin 75no.

Bowling first against a bot, for some reason the pitch is dusty, which is hurting me as I don't have a front line spinner for FC atm - I bought one with low fitness and he's nearly recovered now!

End of Over 43 (Maiden). master XI: 108-6, runrate=2.51

Should bowl them out soon I hope!

Seems I picked a WK to bowl instead of one of my bowlers, which can't have helped!

311/6, WK who was meant to be a bowling in now, thankfully, so should be able to ease my way to max batting points before bowling them out again.

Mistake on top of mistake.

Made an error with my Cup game selection Sunday, and with my nets Monday.  Have PFL issues and have fielded a poor side BR wise I am now struggling against a team I should easily beat.

Bowled them for 184 and managed 73/1 got to declare at 360 and hope my bowlers leave me enough overs to chase down on day 3.  Just hope my PFL recovers in other area's.

So annoyed with myself.

lol, continue good start, declared 408-2 although Kerwin wwas a bit miffed as he had 198no. Tzaneen 132no.

but they got to 63-0 by end of play so need to get off to a good start tomorrow morning or I might be looking at a PFL-sapping, championionship-costing draw, eek!

Again, playing a BOT away, so bat first, score 360, then bowl them out twice was the plan.

So won the toss and batted.

In trouble in less than 15 overs at 60-4, luckily my worst 2 batters put on some good runs, with my no 4 scoring 108, and my no 6 scoring 81. Fell away again however to finish 292AO.

In reply, some simply great bowling from my back ups, meant they were bowled out in the 42nd over for 58, with their no 3 scoring 18 from 110 deliveries.

star of the day being my 3rd backup allrounder, scoring 32 from 31 balls, then taking 5-8 from 9 overs.

Should win convincingly tomorrow to leave Thursday a rest day

Got their top four out but they only need 105 to avoid the follow on, could be close! Them 153-4.

Yippeee! Reverse bok, 158-5 Wink

Blimey! 158-6  Grin

171-10

Playing a team with human manager but he was unlucky to get given a team that had already won promotion when turning into a bot so he's in Div 5 with a Div 6 team. He's improved a little since beginning of season but its still a game i expected to win.

After first day i had managed to declare on 374 for 5 after just 80 overs giving me 30 overs to try and break into his top order. However by the end of the day he had finished on 78 for 0 and my hopes of enforcing the follow on at 224 were looking less likely.

A well structured team talk at the beginning of day two however seemed to do the trick...............

And that's the end of the match. an innings and 92 runs.

End of Over 52 (4 runs). Telford Bears: 133-10, runrate=2.56 (1st Inn: 149-10)
Trail by 92 runs. (Matts Monkeys 374-5 dec)
Berry 10-3-28-3
Sweet* 7 (41 balls)

20 wickets in 3/4 of a day conceeding approx 200 runs good enough for me - an extra days rest for an important one day game on friday Smiley
