Richard Ashby is shaking his head saying things are not good on 15k but he is still smiling so he didn't depress me.

Channing looking a bit more sullen though having "done 50k already!"

Overnight chip leader Van Hoang raised to 5k preflop and Dave Colclough smooth called.  The flop came:

Van made a 10k bet only for Dave C to min raise to 20k.  Van (who was uber aggressive all yesterday with constant reraises) min raised again to 40k.  Dave having none of it went all in, probably for only another 21k.  Van had a small dwell, shook his head and passed!  Nice scoop for Dave off the loose cannon of the tournament.

Kevin Jenkins has just been cabbaged, his all-in with K-Q running into the Poket Cowboys of John Kabbaj and receiving no further assistance.

Meanwhile, Karl Mahrenholz has bitten the dust, although we don't have the details.

Look about two posts above yours.

great updates, any news on Roberto please

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

The show just wouldn't be the same without the Mouth of the So... er... West, Welsh Wonder Roberto Romanello putting Canadian Matt Novak under the spotlight. The reason for the grilling was that Matt had pushed all-in over the top of Roberto's 10.1k Flop bet on a Two Clubs Two Diamonds board for an extra 29,400 more.

"Will you show me if I pass?" asks Roberto.

Matt doesn't respond at first, perhaps thinking of an answer and pretending that he has his ipod on.

"Will you show me if I pass I said?" ask Roberto adamantly.

At this point, Matt, who I'm sure was flabbergasted at the highly amusing speech play, felt obliged to acknowledge the existence of Romanello by removing one ear-piece and raising one eyebrow as if to say, "Huh?"

Roberto repeats the question, "Will you show me if I pass?"

Matt, cool as a cucumber in a fridge freezer doesn't answer, just a slight shrug of the shoulders.

A slight pause, and then again, out pops the same question, but this time with a tiny but more authority, "I'll ask once more, will you show me if I pass?"

At this point, even I nearly said, "Oh, for crying out loud, answer him so I can go back to the press room!!!", but Mark simply ignored him once again.

On that note, Roberto reluctantly passed, but was shown a Queen from Novak who I assume was comfortably ahead.

"Christ," I say to Foxy, "I would have conceded after a few seconds and broken down with 'Okay, okay, I have a Queen.' Roberto was scaring me and I wasn't even at the table!"

After a few months out of the game, Michael Greco has come back fresh, revitalised and raring to go, his undeniable focus on every hand and the actions of each opponent sure to hold him in good stead. This guys like a hawk, nothing gets passed him.

Ketu Nathwani is now an official shorty (not in the Freddie Deeb way) after his button re-raise of Selin's cut-off raise resulted in an all-in from Selin and, subsequently, a pass from Nathwani.

41 . It's all about the merciless.

Ben Vinson limps with Aces, and Matt Novak pushes Kings and is obviously called

Ben looks to be close to being chip leader now.
