If poker is a game of odds, why do players take part in tournaments where they are 90% to lose their money?

I will try better next time, but no TV shows planned until the New Year so posts for the rest of the month are safe.

Are all players 90% to do their money in every tournament?

Well 90% of players are allways going to lose if pay outs are for 10% only, but I guess an argument will be that some are more likely to lose than others.

Good players are a lot better than 90/1

You mean 9/1 ?

And more importantly, you can cash more more than 10 times you buy in. So you don't need to be better than 9/1 to cash if you place high enough.
