Dagomir  Pavlovic doubled up Irish player Paul Gormley by blind messing shenanigans.  Pavlovic with blinds at 4k/8k made it 24k from the small blind and Gormley raised it 60k more leaving himself about 70k behind.  Pavlovic went all in and put Gormley in the think tank for ages.

A clock was called and with 10 seconds he made the call:

  Paul Gormley
Pavlovic  (and shouts "Noooo" when Gorley called)

Gormley up to about 170,000.

On a board, Markus Golser checks and Adrian Koy bets 50k. Golser calls. The river is dangerous looking and now Golser leads out for 80k, only for Koy to move all-in behind him for about 390k more, Koy having Golser covered. A crowd gathers quickly as Golser thinks for an age before making the call, Koy lets out a deep sigh and flips which he's turned into a bluff whilst Golser shows and rakes in a 910k pot, having made a third impressive play. (The A-K overbet to elicit Marc Karam to call with a weaker Ace, and yesterday where he passed top two pair to a rivered backdoor flush). He looks to be the man in form now, and has to be the favourite.

Marc Karam is OUT, although Koy was crippled by that last hand, he still had Karam covered and called the Canadian's all-in with Tens to find himself up against A-T. The pair held, but Marc Karam cashes once again in an EPT, though not as highly as the last two.

The hoodied Nikolas Liakos has doubled through with against the pony-tailed Sebastian Zink's .

Iliodoros Kamatakis, (here seen being re-raised off a pot by Kristian Kjondal) has just lost a big pot to Nedzib Suman. He bet 90k on the river of a two spades board, but could only show when Suman made the call with .

Shortly after that hand Iliodoros Kamatakis goes all in under the gun for 145,000 with  and gets called by the  of Dagomir Pavlovic.  No miracles and "the sun" goes OUT in 18th place.

They are hand for hand to get to the last 16 and 2 tables.

Jose Luis   Navarro has doubled up to around 200k thanks to Mikael   Norinder who just moved to the table.  I only saw that Navarro had Q3 on 3 7 3 5 7 board.

Paul Gormley is OUT. He held against Dagomir Pavlovic's

As the board came , Dagomir shouted, "Yes! Yes!" then "No Ten! No Ten!" more shouts came from him once the turn and river were and . 17 left and we're hand for hand and then a redraw for the final two tables.

Arnaud Mattern has doubled up with Sixes against the A-2 of Juha Lauttamus, an ace came on the flop but by the river Arnaud had four-flushed his to win the pot.

And we are down to 16 players.

Jose Navarro raises to 24k, Kristian Kjondal makes it 70k and Navarro moves in for about 170k more. Kjondal went into the tank, before making the call.

Navarro:

Kjondal:

As the cards are turned over, Navarro's fans start shouting and cheering, "Vamos!!!"

Flop:

And Kjondal has 5 outs now...

Turn:

Two Clubs

Now it's just 4...

River:

A collective cry from the Spaniards, they really felt that one, Navarro takes it better than them though, shrugging his shoulders and shaking hands with his Norwegian conqueror.  Kjondal then mock-wipes a little sweat off his brow and says, with the air of a man who knows he got lucky, "Four outs was enough..."

Here's three of the players who've been a bit quieter today and not seen too many hands, (or cards, we suspect). Arnaud Mattern, Mike 'Timex' McDonald and Christer Johansson.

Not long after this count, Gino Alacqua doubled through Adrian Koy with Kings on a J high board to go to about 300k and cripling Koy.  Again a few hands later and Koy was eliminated in 16th place A9 v Markus Golser AQ.
