MPower,

Yes, the new edition starts at 11pm tonight.

We "lost" our planned venue footage when the Amalfi Tourney was shut down after it was raided by the Police. But we intreview the chap who organised it - well it's a chap-ette actually. Look out for Rhow's outfit in this.....

So we have a natter about that, & the obvious link to the current "Gutshot debate".

Then we have an Andy Black "Profile", and another natter.

Then a sort of mini in-depth interview - an in shallowth? - with none other than the Rookie, Brian Wilson. Brian rushed up from Maidstone to Wapping, but for technical reasons (we'd recorded the show earlier, so this had to be "slotted in") I could not do my usual trick of asking for 5 minutes & blathering on for 15. The dummy was being VERY strict with me. Still, it was nice to chat with Brian. HE had a LOVELY shirt on. (HINT HINT).

I'm really looking forward to hearing what the organiser has to say.

Mr Moves,

We HAVE got a lengthy interview with the organiser. As to why the tourney got stopped, I think we need to read betwen the lines. Watch the show, & we can debate it afterwards.

Caught last week's Poker 425 last night.

Highly entertaining.

Best bitfor me is always the opening banter between tikay and the baseball guy. Definetley the best host in my opinion. Seems to be carrying tikay.  Cheesy Roll Eyes

Here, tikay, I'll do it for you.

Anyhows, top show! Great report and walsall and good to see barry neville on the profile.

Did my ears deceive me or was one of the answers 'tikay'?!  Shocked Shocked Shocked

Correct - Barry Neville said he "feared tikay". Wise man, that Barry......

And yes, I work & react well with Jonathon Gould, he's a real pro.

This week's Anchorman is Alan Bentley. He's just as professional, but I don't seem to "bounce" so well off him - my fault, not his. My perception is that this week's show is a bit "flat".

I think we should end with a good laugh, as we did last week, whereas, so far as I can recall, this week ended a bit blandly. I need to find ways to work with everyone better.

There is no doubt that last weeks show was perceived as better than average because it ended on a nice high. OK, off top watch this weel's now.

Do you still say the catchphrase at the tikay or is that only on some shows?

If not, I think that should be your catchphrase all the time.

As I said earlier spoony, it's my problem to learn to work with Alan beter. When I never got the cue, I had the right to say "excuse me, can we do that again".  But I'm mindful of my "statiion" in life as to TV, & tend not to say boo to a goose! It's hardly my place, all things considered, to tell them how to run their show! I don't have a Contract, you know.......

That was down to a mix-up in the editing studio The Nun. I actually said those words not to Brian, but to Rhowena.

spoony,

It's Paul Tilling, who is in charge of Channel 425. He's built it up from nothing into the European channel - bar NONE - that shows more live sport than any other. He makes ALL the big decisions, like who will or will not be be the Presenters. I call him Sir Paul Tilling, because he's such a lovely man.......
