I started doing this at the end of August - from scratch via freerolls and then onto micro cash and then $2 stts on ladbrokes after the micro cash did my head in. I am up to about $120 at the moment and will move up to $5 stts once I reach $150 (30 buy-ins). May take a while as I rarely get time to play more than a few games a week but if i keep at the current 72% in the money for the next couple of weeks it will be quicker!

I love a good challenge, and it's great to see so many people giving these a crack.

I recently started one after being nipped by the taxman for £3.5k. I have to pay £2.5k by Jan 21st, so I've decided to try and turn the $1k in my blonde account into $5k by that date by just playing heads up cash. A challenge can really help motivate you when it comes to playing online, especially when it's the tax man. I really want to acheive this one, if only to pay the tax man through 'dirty money'.  Grin

I'm on Day 3 at the moment, if anyone is interested in heads up cash, then feel free to check out my progress on my blog (link below).

Got to over $500 from my startinjg $3, but a few recent misunderstandings have sent be back to about $430. Keeping the interest up when playing these stakes is increasingly tricky, and I've found myself splitting the roll between different sites to try and keep things "fresh". Right now I'm doing the £5 sixpack thunder sit and goes on DTD, running at about 30% ROI  - and playing small cash at Stars. I think this is the most profitable route at these levels.  We'll see.

I really need to kick on again, though, to raise the enthusiasm!

gl everybody trying this challange too but starting with 250 spread on party laddies and stars. I can see the first level up to 500 being the hardest.

I'm up to about $246 profit now after a nice $90 cash for 4th in a new player freeroll at Galapoker. Started playing the $5 stts on ladbrokes a couple of weeks ago and will hopefully be moving up again soon when I have the requisite 30-40 buy ins. Just wish I had the time to play a bit more!

What I am doing is playing on a crypto site playing the Double Your Money 6 or 10 seater STT's, which also give you 30% rake on a weekly basis and building up from there, can be done very quickly then as well..

I tired the bsq way from freeroll and got p off when i built up to 4$ and did not cash in 3 $1 stt, so started on the other one, as i could nto be bothered to start again on the freerolls..

GL ..  thumbs up

i play these too, do u get rakeback for  these through dtd?

I admire all of you who choose this route to build up a roll - or just as a challenge.

I could not do either as micro limits boore me to tears.

I prefer using the "play a $100 or $200 tournament" when you can afford it, wait for the decent finsih, THEN employ bankroll management Wink
