Don't make me mad

After making a nice amount on the footie last weekend with ManU and Arsenal doing the business for me I am, as always, really looking forward to the mad rush of footie at Christmas time. The bookies will make a few mistakes over the christmas period and that's all I'm looking for.

This weekend starts off the great christmas 3 games in a week madness and there are 2 outstanding bets for me (prices taken from corals coupon..you might get better.if you check oddschecker.com )

The rules for me are simple during this period...team I bet on has to be a decent price for the fixture and will be either a team at the top or it will be a decent team playing a team at the bottom of the league.. I'll start with a 50£ bet and will let half of the profits ride on to the next match day. I will never bet on anything more than a double (trebles are bookies bets) and that's it really.

This weekend;

Darlington to beat Lincoln @5-4 (Darlington away) Lincoln city on 18 points 4 from the bottom and a poor home record. Darlington top 4 36 points and a good away record (5 wins 2 draws 2 losses 15 goals for and 6 against)

Ross County to beat Brechin @ 10-11 (Ross county away) Ross County top the league with 31 points and great away record. Brechin 2nd from bottom, 14 points and dismal home record of only 2 wins (admittedly 5 draws)

at these odds it's almost a 4-1 double.

also gives me a good reason to sit through Gillette soccer saturday..always great fun if you have a bet on Smiley

Anyone spot any value anywhere this weekend?

3.5pts win Walsall (v Millwall) @ EVS.
1.5pts DBL Walsall & Stockport (v Grimsby 5/6)

£50 DBL pays £183.

Gl Boldie, in my limited knowledge/recall. I think Lincoln are in a bit of form at the moment, after new manager Peter Jackson (ex Huddersfield) took over.

Right im off to pick out my loosers.

yeah ..Lincoln aren't as crap as they used to be..which is why Darlington are a big price..I stillexpect darlington to beat them though.

Just nipped to Ladbrokes to get the coupon on ..  usual bet, 5 teams, 10 £1 trebles, 5 £1 four folds and a £1 acc ... total £16.

dog race just about to go off so i have the £4 change on a forecast .. ducks ! then the 12.25 at Navan is just about to start so i look for a bit of valloooooo to oppose the 2/9 fav.  I pick Islland Arrow at 25/1 for a £5 each way interest ... it beats the fav by a pubic hair in a photo !!!  ship the £160 bucks !!!!!

anyway todays selections

Reading v Sunderland HOME  4/5
Cardiff   v  Sheff Utd  HOME  5/4
Ipswich v Burnley      DRAW  11/5
Sheff Wed v Watford AWAY 11/8
Luton v Tranmere   Home   5/4
