If Ascot goes ahead today (final inspection at 11.30) surely Jack The Giant will hack up from bottom weight? (24Lbs less than his chasing weight)..the only reason he got in here is because Nicky Hendersons other owners pulled out enough horses for him to get in.

9-2..a big price about a horse for whom a trainer has gone through this much effort to get him in to a race.

7/2 now

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

i have had a decent bet on Halcon Genelardais for the welsh national, been getting a bit worried with the dry spell last few days as he dosent want it firm, ive read just enough rain has come to keep ground good to soft, a bit more is forecast, its raining by me today and sky looks dark so more rain the better, ive had another bet today at 15/2 with paddy power, only horse  to worry about in race to worry about is Gungadu, intend to have a saver and a twist forecast on the day,

I said this in the Cheltenham antepost thread..I still believe Dream alliance will win the Welsh national and he seems on course for it Smiley
