Another frustrating day, with various attempts at finding out what is happening. Brick wall. Stacey tonight called the ward in Manchester, they could give her no answers apart from telling her she really needs to write a letter of complaint. JOKE. Stacey said never mind a complaint letter I will go to the papers, the nurse did however then  give her the head of nursing mobile no.and told her to ring between 08.30 - 09.00 in the morning as she will be with the registrars and will be able to put them on the spot.

Reece has today had a set back in his eating, not that interested in food towards the end of the day, hope this is not the start of him going off it again which is what usually happens after a period of no TPN.  I am also going to ring the hossy tomorrow and insist on being given a name of who is in charge /making decisions over Reece's care whilst his Doc is away. This isn't a tonsillectomy we are talking about here ffs, what the hell are they playing at?. Also, whilst the old line remains dormant and split in his small veins we can not flush it as it is too dangerous so this could potentially be ruing his arm vein. I am so mad but feel my arms are tied, where the hell are we supposed to go.

So much happened today it would take me ages to update it correctly and I am sure you just would not believe it. Maybe tomorrow I will get round to it but can not do it tonight.

Fed him,  after starving him again just after 5pm, but he can not eat once again after 3am. Literally bended knees apology by one nurse but that was just for one of the errors today. His is scheduled for tomorrow morning. Won't hold my breath, but think they are becoming quite aware now that they are really well over the line. Plus the added thought of us going to the press as apparently many other parents have already done so in the Manchester area.

Do you know what Reece said when I got out the cheese butties I had taken in with us for him and sweets, crisps etc, in anticipation of this happenings?. His eyes were like wide open and he honestly said. " This has to be my best day ever, Grandad, have a sweat, I wont starve you take one". How sad is that to refuse a child food then he thinks he has to be grateful for being allowed such an array set out before him.

Please hospital, do not cancel it tomorrow ( or postpone it as no i am wrong,  no operation gets cancelled just merely postponed) as I am not sure I can be held responsible for my actions.
