Made a call to the hossy to see if his bed is ready and as yet they are full. So tenterhooks until they call us.

Yes, we have told him it is to make his tummy better but he got worked up and said " Oh no not theatre, tell me Grandma I am not going to theatre". So I couldn't tell him the full extent, off we went to the swings to take his mind off it.

We have to go nil by mouth from 2am and ring them at 6am to see if one will be there for him tomorrow, then we have to get him to Leeds for 07.30am if there is one. Fuming to say hte least. This is not just any op this is a big one, only the 6th time it has been done there and they have been preparing since we left Manchester which was sept. Poor kid.

Ugh.  Message just in from Mo:

"he is still in theatre it has been harder to get into his tummy due to adhesions. Been roughly 7 hrs now and still no sign of him coming out. We r in bits."

The wee man needs all the good vibes he can get from us today.  This is a big one for him.  xx
