Amongst all the doom n gloom we have some good news.

Reece went to his follow up appointment this week from his big op, but before the op and when we first transferred to Leeds we were given the news that they didn't think there was a lot they could do as they thought Reece would never ween from TPN, ie, start absorbing  food naturally, this was such a hard time for us and a lot to come to terms with as we also now his veins are limited for central lines. But hey ho, post op, they are astounded with his progress, he looks and feels the best he has ever done in his life, and next week we start to decrease the TPN, so he will drop to 5 nights per week. Fingers crossed for him that he will maintain weight, he has to do it this time. Leeds have made his and our lives so much easier, long may it continue.

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.
