Don't make me mad

I am villain in this hand and Hero..doesn't matter..doesn't even really matter what I hold or anything

1-2$ 6 handed cash game on blonde..where Kev is still working the lever for me Smiley

I hold  don't know what he had. I am UTG+1 and stick 6$ in the pot. 1 caller (UTG). $15 pot

Flop

He checks to me and I bet 10$, he check raises to 20$ (a move I hate...I thoroughly dislike min-check raisers as only poor players do this..and he is) I call.

Turn

He bets 50$, I call..2 pair and a FD are rather nice and this guy is simply not ballsy enough to play a flopped straight like this.

river

he bets 100$ into the pot (he has 94$ after doing so)..I think about it for a while and move in for 124$ total as I just can't see him having a straight or Full house here.....anyways..this is not about my play but I only raise 24$ more into a 360$ pot.

Now it is irrelevant what he has (I don't know) but can you EVER find a fold here? I am rather surprised as even if I was almost positive I was behind..I would want the info,

edit..bolloxed up the flop cards as there was a heart on it

Boldie wheres your FD?

Ohh and for what its worth I ain't raising with T8 suited UTG +1 I may flat call from late position but if re-raised your just throwing $6 away.

Its an easy pass on the flop when he raises two pair are vulnerable with that flop, and then on the river when your 2nd pair is countered with the 9's it makes the pass even easier.

 He has A9 suited!

Raising preflop is fine with me, I wouldn't recommend doing it every table but i like doing it with this hand occasionally. Keeps our range nice and mixed up pre.

Bet/call flop is alright but im doing this mainly to get funky on a dry turn. By coming over the top of his bet as he $50 i just shovel here.

As played I fold this river i think, though lots of missed draws are out, our hand is beat by an awful lot.

*Shoving turn is read dependent and there are some nits who will have us crushed at this point.

ok..maybe I didn't make it clear in my post. i pushed on the river..the question is.

If you are faced with calling 24$ more into a 366$ pot, do you ever fold in a cash game? My oppo folded here to my push, when calling would only have cost him 24$

On a 6 handed cash game on ipoker at the level of 1-2$ low/middle suited connectors are gold on the right table (which is most of them)..

Putting the extra $24 i really don't get, your hand is in affect a bluff catcher. His range is made up x% of hands that beat you and y% of bluffs, very little in between.

Therefore all the hands that beat you snap call the extra $24 but the bluffs spades, bare j or 7 are going to fold as there is no way they can be winning and might as well save $24.

If your going to call, just call, shoving has no value at all.
