Although I have played poker for a number of years it was my first visit to the Rendevous Casino for the January Sales Poker Festival. Very disappointed with the whole experience, especially the lack of dealers and the table/card room layout. I returned home 2 days early. Are these tournaments supposed to be ranking events?

You have a point there Micky, it hardly seems right that a ranking event is self-deal.

However, it's a lovely Casino with very progressive management, who have plans to make Brighton Rendezvous a top Poker Venue - and yes, that includes dealers. But give them time, they are getting there.

And there are some things about Brighton Rendezvous that really are very good already.

Unfortunately Tikay I withdrew my membership from Nottingham a couple of years ago as a possible restraint against the roulette bug. Maybe after my forthcoming "holiday" I will re-apply for membership. The way Julian's playing right now even I would find it difficult to stop him. Try and talk him into the WSOP in Vegas as his game is as good as anybodys right now.
