Good luck to Steve Holden, Mad Marty and Katherine Hartree, and Ben Vinson. Dan Carter can't play this one as he's off to the Carribbean instead. Lucky bastard! Smiley

Just arrived at East Midlands Airport and we are having a quick coffee before boarding. All of us are booked to play the 300euro satallite in the Eglinton Hotel tonight. So a cheap seat would be nice as the Euro is stinking value at the minute.

Lol, would be funny after all of that Mick just wrote two lines for each day. I'm sure he'll come through with a cracking report though. No bad beat stories though McCool! I've been reading way too many in your blog recently. Consider this a warning, one more and you're off.   Wink

FFS u piranha don't want much, l feel under pressure now with my wee diary/update.

We have arrived at the Radisson which is a lovely modern hotel with everything u need, l kid u not! Thinking it would be a lovely trip to the seaside for a little bit of poker, l am slightly concerned by the people l have seen in the lobby of the Radisson, nevermind the local Subway (sarny joint), banks and general town centre. It seems that more have come than anticipated and l will give u lists and try for a few photos in a later post. Suffice to say l wish l had the camera earlier when we walked by the local bookies seeing Jesse May and Mad Marty shouting home a dog at Romford. I think Jon Kalmar was lurking around there too! With them two around there it wasn't long till we found Padraig in the lobby bar having a quiet one. Jesse told me that the Omaha game last night had 20k on the felt, and that was with no one here yet!

I think we might have an interesting few days coming up, God Bless Us!

P.S If l take photos , do l just load them up ordinarily from my collection?

Cheers
Mick

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

Frost on the roads down south has thawed for the minute, but there's talks of snow here in the next few days.  No idea what it's like in Galway.  I'd reckon it's time to dig out the woolies...yer gonna need em.

OK guys and girls we are on the dinner break having lost 36 players of which l think John Kabbaj was the first. I believe there was around 292 runners but will confirm later. I struggled early through my own loose play but have managed to get up to around average on 12,600. There are some chip counts below and pictures are on the blog. Sry its short but l want to relax for 20 mins.

One hand l caught at the break was between English men, Kevin O'Leary and Adam Lawler. Kevin had raised in UTG+2 and Adam repoped it. Kevin called and with 2,625 in the middle the Englanders seen a  Two Diamonds flop. Kevin checked it and a short stacked Adam pushed his last 3,900. Kevin thought long and hard, but folded at which point Adam turned over  .
