If I like what's in the glass, it's half empty and we need to top it up.  If I'd rather die than drink the contents, it's half full and still no way I'm drinking it.

Pretty easy,

only got 1 mouth. Tip the contents of one into the other -Full -

proceed to drink contents of full glass whilst handing empty glass to the missus to top up.

rinse and repeat.

is the one on the left turning clockwise while the one on the right goes anti-clockwise?

This is still an awesome illusion. I've now improved from yesterday's skill of being able to get them to switch directions by looking and the legs and thinking "clock-wise" or "anti-clockwise" to now simply not changing my view and just thinking which way I want them to turn...

Clever stuff (the illusion that is!)...

As for the glasses, they're usually completely empty by the time I've got to them Wink

No contest -- all three are still going in the same direction -- and my glass is empty -- so there
