Just noticed that on Channel 265, The Poker Channel, they are showing the World Speed Poker Open, which includes Tony G, and Jac Arama wearing a red top-hat that looks extremely silly.

But the silly hat is still there - Tony G has gone!

He held  Two Diamonds two hearts against Matey Boys  and the flop came.....

  two spades

No surprise then, that all the chips were shovelled in.

The river was the  , & Tony G is out.

Pah!

Red, I was simply being "creative". It was a misread.

Davey - I could not possibly comment. But not the ringmaster. The silly hat seems to have gone, to be replaced by silly glasses now.

...but Gary Jones's commentary is quite excellent. I really rate him as a commentsator. OK, I gotta switch to Channel 425 now, there's a really silly looking geezer on THAT Channel at 11pm.

Top 3 TV Poker commentators?

For me, it's Jesse, Gary Jones, & Paul Phillips. Lucy is excellent as well, but that's four. And Barny. So those 5 are my top 3.

Tony G took his beat like a gentleman and he wished them well and went out with a smile.

As for commentators I might be in the minority but I find Norman Chad from ESPN funny.

IMO the best commentators are: Gary Jones, Paul Phillips, P Singleton,Barny  & L Rokash.
Jesse is there for the entertainment and cult status only, as after all these years the guy still hasnt a clue , saying that I dont think he employed for his opinions on strategy.
G Jones is a cut above as he stays neutral and gives good explanations on various styles of play.
I was going to start a topic on this very subject after watching 888.com tourny on TV tonight,
 maybe tomorrow.
