what does the above mean please

Literal meaning poker wise, is that a player has not done anything out of the ordinary, not played many hands. The orbits refers to how often the button has passed round the table, for example if your are on the button 1st hand, when the button next comes round to you that is a complete orbit.

If you mean how the hell can we tell that somebody is solid after about 20 hands max, I agree that it is kind of a stupid statement.

I could tell Dan was a 'solid' player by the way he tucked into the chinese on the break

you aint seen nothin yet i was trying to take my time being new and all that but now i know what your all like theres no stoppin me im going for the menu in 10mins next time
