Hi,

The Mrs has her 30th birthday in a few weeks and I am thinking of booking us a holiday to a place called Playa Taurito in Gran Canaria. Has anyone ever been there?

from what I remember from my last visit to GC about 5 years ago, Taurito is a new resort which lies between Puerto Mogan (quaint little harbour town, nice fish restaurants and a quiet pace of life) and puerto rico (absolute shitehole full of lager louts and timeshare reps).

as far as I know there are only a couple of hotels in the area, but quality is decent.

I know, what a hubby I am eh.The thing is Im quite worried how the little un will cope on a 4 1/2 flight but hopeful we will cope ok.
