If alot of you have not read this before it is well worth reading when they post. Karl is a very concise, competent writer/reporter,he won't sit on the fence either when he feels an opponent has played a hand badly and these can be very interesting.

Sunny is very honest with his posts and is easily the most frequent poster. Chaz who finished 2nd to Julian in the GUKPT last year doesn't post much, but they too are very honest and straight to the point.

I have not read any of the other Hit Squadders posts to be honest except Praz, who only ever posts once in a blue moon. These posts are worth waiting for, as he is also very honest and in my opinion one of the best British players by a mile. His recent post is no different and when l read it the other day l was massively shocked as l was sure this Poker Robot had no vices or Achilles heel. To learn he was a Blackjack player and had done a load of dough at the end of the year was a surprise but l for one thank him for revealing this as l too suffer with the same problem. Everytime l go to the casino for a tournament l have to fight the devil to stay away which l have being doing successfully recently thanks to Dusk Till Dawn and a wee bit of self control. Having some real good friends around helps too! Thankfully l am not at the stage where l sneak down to a casino just to play Blackjack. This, along with other house games has in the past, and will continue in the future to ruin many good players so there is a lesson for any of you young players out there.

good post mick. I read the blog, quality stuff. I too have lost shitloads on the roulette mainly out of sheer boredam. The thing with roulette is that even if you win a bob or two, it will get re-invested along the way. Even if you win you lose. To think i lost almost half of the amount of profit i made from poker last year makes me sick.

If i could play socialy once in a while for £20 i would but i know i wouldnt be able to do this so ive just plain stopped.

<<<<<<<<Roulette Monkey>>>>>>>>>>

Huge leak, I won a £40 d/c freeze other night and on Thursday bolloxed it on roulette, fairly standard for me.  I don't play blackjack because I am not keen on even money bets.

Last night after i exited the tourney waiting on a cash game getting underway I was stood by the roulette table, and called 7 numbers in 9  (Neighbour Bets) spins the deler was egging me onto play, I had a quick dash before I knew it was down £180, then I hit 3 numbers cashed in and ran.  Sick, I think I will be staying away from venues that offer house games :-(
