About 52 seats were sold for the Luton Main Event, which was a 2 x 7,500 chip, 1 hour affair. 18 players return for Day Two thus:

Dean Morris, T6, , 108,825

Asy Ho, T5, , 82,700

Dave Gregory, T1, , 82,000

James Roe, T5, , 51,950

Andy Bradshaw, T2, , 50,800

Ben Turnstill (rooks), T2, , 49,150

Giovanni Vaccerella, T6, , 47,725

Keith Miller, T1, , 43,950

Neel Chudusamma, T3, S1, 43,750

Nick Slade (quantify), T2, , 34,075

Dave LLoyd (djl), T2, , 32,725

Andrew Tracey (Andrew T), T4, , 27,525

Richard Lynch, T2, , 24,875

Matt Tyler (Cone-Head/b4matt), T3, , 24,475

Lalit Khujuria, T6, , 23,850

Ian Woodley, T5, , 20,775

Richard Wheatley, T1, , 18,100

Chris Leventis, T4, , 12,725.

When I arrived, from work, at about 1am, & Rooks was down to the felt with about 4k - he finished the day in 6th place with 49k+, some comeback!

And one inrtrepid player played the Brighton Main Event, bust out, then drove the 2 hour or so trek to Luton, & courtsey of the Alternate System, also played the Luton Main Event! That must be a first.

That was his third tournament of the night, I got told.

I'm surprised to see Asy is second in chips. He's not usually one for tournaments.

52? Nice turnout

I busted out of the satelite with 12 left (4 seats) and when I left at 5.30 there were only 12 seats sold!

Glad this was a (mini) success, Luton deserve it

  52...good turnout!

Hardly surprising AndrewT making day two, given the superstar field he beat to get there. Wink

Thanks to the brilliant structure (we're only at 600/1200/75 when we come back) I managed to fold my way to day 2. I must have played about 1 hand every hour, if that.

I am on the table with all the chips with the 2 chip leaders on my immediate left so there is scope for progress if I hit some flops.

Quite tired after less than 4 hours sleep. Ian Woodley, Dave Gregory and I had to break into the Days Inn after the night porter fell asleep.

Good luck to my mate Dean Morris. Perfect structure his 'dulux' style. And well done to keith miller for still being in.
