for a beginners book i would recommend this one :

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Playing-Poker-Win-Comprehensive-Beginners/dp/1845281055/ref=pd_bbs_2?ie=UTF8&s=gateway&qid=1201690251&sr=8-2

It is very easy to read, and tests you on what you have learnt at the end of each chapter.

They are the limitations that we invent for ourselves

I'm new to the marvellous game of poker and I'm wondering which books I should be reading, I was give Dan Harrington Vol 1 for christmas but which others should I be reading, I'd like to start by playing on the internet.

Harrington's a really good start, but all poker players should read Super System at some point or another. Still the Holy Bible of poker books imo.
