HI,

I am planning to go to vegas in may and play one of the $1500 NL events at the WSOP, I was just wondering if anyone knows how you go about registering?, do you just turn up at the casino a few days before and get in line?

cheers

Just turn up before the tournament and pay your money. On the day itself the queue will be massive, so avoid this if you can.

The only queues tend to be for satellites and these are massive. If you're just buying in you'd be unlucky to need to queue at all

Last year the queues for the $1.5k NLH events were MASSIVE on the day. Stretching out the door and down the hall.

Do it the night before when for some reason there is nobody queueing.

I'm hoping to go play the 1500 PLO..(obviously need to make some money before then) I'm told you can register ages in advance so would just look for a quite reg time..a day or two in advance.

Is there any reason why the fees cannot be paid online direct to the casino?

You take your time between posts don't you Alun?  Cheesy

But I would concur with the whole plan of buying in when nobody else is queuing, seems a whole lot more sensible.

I've played a few low buy in events and tend to buy in at about 3 o'clock in the morning as there is no q at that time of day.
