Weaned myself off the arcade, and now I have a new challenge (in the absence of actually getting a life)

lol, I had also weaned myself off the arcade and went on it just now - BIG mistake. Poker running bad, chess running bad and arcade ditto ....

even lost at connect four and top trumps earlier

how do you get 12k at the billiards btw?..I think I got to 5 or 6k when clearing the table..

You have to clear the table in roughly 60 seconds, but you also need the game to have a glitch in it, sometimes it won't register that you have potted a couple of the balls and give them back to you, so if you pot one of those extra balls last - followed in the same shot with potting the white - the 10k+ scores are possible.

Not that I've played it a lot to know, of course....

yup, you have to go in off off the last pot for sure

and under 60 seconds

and extra points for potting two at once

and the glitch

and a lot of frustration along the way when you clear up and only get 8000-900!

one of the most frustrating things about this game is that sometimes the 'you've got it' message (meaning game is finished) flashed up when i've still got balls left to pot. Happened once when i was over 9k and had two balls left to pot. ffs, i wouldn't have got the top score but i would've posted my highest for sure.
