All is not grand on the good ship John Shipley, he's shipped his last pot and is now a man overboard.

On my wanders I saw DC scooping a small pot, nothing major but every little helps! Also saw a big pot between Richard Teatum and Simon Zacharias. We join the hand as Zacharias had reraised to 2600 preflop, Teatum called and no one else saw the flop of Zacharias bets out 2200 and Teatum made it 8k. After giving it some theatrics Zacharias moves all in and Teatum instacalls. Teatum has KT, but Zacharias has AQ for the flopped nuts. board comes and Zacharias scoops a nice pot! Teatum looks a little short with around 8000 left.

I walked past DC's table and noticed his stack looking a bit healthier than before, he then proceded to make a raise preflop so I stood by notepad in hand to get all the details. He made it 1k preflop and got 2 callers, one of which was in the blinds. The flop came down and all 3 players checked. The turn was and Scott Edwards lead out for 1500, DC call and matey boy passes. River came down the and Scott leads out for 3000. After a long think DC folds and Scott can't resist showing the , which leads DC to turn over .

Jeff Kimber just knocked out the only other big stack, M Choudhary, on his table in a happy occurence of Aces vs Kings, to push him close to 80k, which is the amount that Mad Turk is on. Turk winning a largish pot with 5-4 on a 3-4-6-2-x board. Paul Gourlay appears to be out.

I just saw an odd hand unfold between Ray Wire and Matey Boy (who was lacking the id tag that tells us who is who!). I arrived to see Ray considering a bet of 1100 on the flop. Eventually the clock was called and about 30 seconds in Ray decides to make a raise to 4500. This is where it starts to get a little odd as after a pause for thought matey boy simultaneously moved all in and flipped his cards over. Wire flips his and there is a bit of confusion as to what happens next as Matey Boy had moved in for 2375 more... most had assumed he was covered and just calling. Eventually the option is given to Wire to call or fold and after a long think he decides to call. round out the board and matey boy doubles up. We've also just started a 15 min break!

Nick Slade is OUT. Queens vs Norman Levitt's Ace King. Pete Singleton has busted James Ballantyne with 6-6 vs K-Q on a J-7-2-5-4 board. Jim Reid is OUT. A-9 against the growing monster that is Jaffacake who held Jacks. Finally Barry Grime has had his Aces cracked by Richard Simmon's which connected well with the and caught the flush on the turn.

Chip leader Jeff Kimber has moved, he's know sharing a table with fellow big stacks, Jon Kalmar and Simon Zach. Note how shiny Pete Singleton's head is. David Rudling is OUT. Nick Bowers is all-in, and Craig Burgess calls. It's vs but the board comes out 8-7-5-9-T so time. Adam Clark is OUT. on an all club board but Ky Hutchinson had .

When you get chance could you just ask Jaffa for me if he's ok over there?
He's already taken 6k off Skalie, Skalie raising to 2k, and Jaffa calling in the blinds. Jaffa check calls a 4k bet before they both check down the and . Jaffa's K-J wins versus Skalie's A-J.

On my travels I saw Richard Teatum scooping up a big pot, i missed the action as the hands had already been mucked. I then saw Stephen Walmsley raising to 1600 only to face Andrew Clarke pushing behind him for around 8k. Walmsley passed. Then I saw an action hand! Ky Hutchinson raised to 2600 Andrew O'flaherty made it 6000 Essy Jahanpour moved all in for 4925 more O'flaherty quickly called with KK and Jahanpour could only table QQ The board came: Jahanpour Doubles up

Quick Quiz:
What has Ariston been up to in the last 20 minutes or so?
[ ] Playing some mind-bogglingly good laggy poker, causing consternation and awe amongst friends and foes alike.
[ ] Play some clever tight-aggressive poker, with no leaks, waiting for good spots and picking pots up both small and big.
[ ] Leering and drooling non-stop at the massage girls.

I just caught the exit of Pete Singleton. 3 players saw the flop of and it was checked to Terence Owens on the button who bet 4k. Pete Singleton went into the tank before moving all in. Matey boy got out of the way and Owens called quickly, showing KK to Singleton's 66. The turn and river were both 4 s and Singleton was out!
