barca were in third gear, as easy a game they have had all season i think

caldwell is defo celtic class, what a player, his slick pass to ronaldinho for the equaliser was sublime
world class boruc did well keeping the score to single figures
donati was great when he came on, really gave the ball away well, and got an assist for the winner, superb display
samoras did well also, the way he won those throw ins at the half way line were over and above
overall strachan played a blinder, tactics spot on, and the bottom line is only a two goal victory at the nou camp is needed, outstanding.

Barca where amazing.  Celtic done us proud.

At least we had a go - Maybe the Rangers fans should take note.

LMAO you had 3 shots and scored with 2(with only 25% possesion may I add), they scored 3 but coulda had about 10(no exageration)...how is that having a go...and i'm not saying that getting on celtics back-Barca are just an awesome team and its too hard to attack them so I dont think your claim holds much substance because you scored 2 goals with 3 shots.

Lets just face it- yous are better than us at attacking, we're better at defending...simple as!!!

but one thought- (being honest) what score would you rather have this morning? a 3-2 defeat or a 0-0 draw??

Obviously looking at possiblity of advancing in the competition I'd prefer 0-0 - but at least I know the joy of taking the lead against Barca twice, and got to watch us attempt to take the game to them instead of watching anti-football....

nonsense, your out because you tried to play them at thier game, and they were much better at that than you.
a nil nil at home is quite an amazing result against barca, for a team like rangers

Didn't realise these games were one-legged affairs?  Does that mean Liverpool are already though?

Sorry Fergus, your blinkers slipped again? What's nonsense? Did we have a go? Yes. Did we score 2? Yes. Did I enjoy the game? Yes.

I didn't say anywhere we were better than Barca - I know we're not, but we took them on & I'd rather do that than try to kill the game. Over the last couple of years the willingness to take on anyone at home has got us through the group stages & achieved some good results and taken some notable scalps.

Agreed, it is.

we had a go in the first half. barca simply wouldnt let us have a go in the 2nd half and totally outplayed us. Still proud of celtic tho. no shame in that result. lol at GS Davie Provan asked if he fancied celtic's chances in the nou camp.... he replied, ive worked hard to get my house so i certainly wouldnt put it on us beating barca!!!!
