I noticed from the ticker that 'quiz legend' (sky's words, not mine) Ed Debaes is on next week's 'the club'.  Surprised he hasn't mentioned it yet!

Indeed, Dave "The Lunatic" Compton did a fine job, Tikay must have taught him a thing or Two and "Wormster" did grand tonight with a brillant 4th place.

Ed on the "Club", sigh, here comes the "Plugging"........

Well Done to Compo. Glad the feedback is positive. I think he must have mugged sone of our team to sneak in that second appearance so soon... He seems to be some kind of genetic hybrid mix of Tony Hadley from Spandau Ballet, Max Bygraves and Walter Matthau...

One early morning many years ago, a member of staff opened the back door of a casino and found a cardboard box lying on the step.

The box was lined with old copies of the Racing Post, but contained nothing save a very large hankie and a tatty old cardigan.

The casino employee picked up the box, and was about to throw it into a dumpster when he thought he saw the cardigan move. He examined it more closely. Swaddled inside the cardigan was a tiny baby.....

To be continued.

Max Bygraves, now that I like.

But "Well Done Compo"? Bugger Compo, I'd say. Not literally, like.

He debuted on Sky Poker on Saturday, got another Show last night, flew to Dubai this morning, gets back Friday, then gets ANOTHER Sky Poker Show on Saturday.

And hold up - I've not finished yet.

Who's he doing Saturday's Show with? Yup - Kara. How did he manage THAT? Kara. MY Kara.

It's bang out of order, I tell ya. He runs way too good. But I don't feel threatened - have you seen the Suits he wears? The reincarnation of George Melly.

I thought he was incredibly classy. Very smooth. I may be changing horses.  Grin
