hows the 1st day gone for everyone??

Mine's simply gone awesomely!!

5th vs 4th vs a bloke with a fairly decent strength team, this and our game later in the season probably relegation deciders

On his green pitch, won the toss and batted 1st, amassed 451-5dec. Put in my strongest bats in at 5 & 6 hoping that my 1st 4 would see off the openers, at 138-4 it was game on, a 313 run partnership, with my star batter getting 171no, then have them 19-1 by the close. Early wickets will be crucial as again he has a strong top of the order.

I'm bot bashing, have a bot on friday too and all my team well rested, so put some first teamers in to get experience.

Bowled them out cheap (foot got 6 wickets) and then scored 600+ to finish the day (2 best bats both ~250no).

Declaring over night and will bowl them out quick tomorrow, get 2 days receipts though!

I'm playing a weak side (I actually thought they were a bot) and managed to end up 435-2.  I've got a pretty weak bowling lineup out but have given myself plenty of time to get the wickets.

Thinking wrongly that my opponent was a bot is looking like it could prove to be costly as my weak bowling line up is having big problems taking wickets!!

End of Over 52 (15 runs). Skuwber Squad: 168-2, runrate=3.23
Trail by 268 runs. (KBOTW 436-2 dec)

My negligence looks like costing me 7 or 8 valuable points Sad.   They finished the day on 371-6 so almost certainly going to be a draw.

451-5 dec, they annoyingly made 310AO, after being 230-7. My missetting of my 6th part time bowler cocked that up as he went for 63 from 10 overs.

I'm 80-3 in reply, 221 ahead, with a humid and cloudy day tomorrow, looking at setting about 330.

I played the 2nd place team in a top of the table battle.
Bowled them out for 76.  Scored 365-4 dec, and then bowled them out again.
All over in 2 days. Im yet to drop a bonus point with my 2nd team out, and dont now expect to, unless i put out a very weakened team.

I managed to score 42 in the 2nd innings, only had 1 decent batter playing, and it showed

A costly draw for me.  I set them a target of 270 from 59overs and I had them at 57-4 but they managed to put a partnership together and hung on for a draw.
