                     Casillas

Zambrotta   Nesta   Vidic   Abidal

Ronaldo   Mascherano Kaka Messi

              Torres  Aguero

I think Cech has had a bad season by his standards. Henry too. Otherwise they'd both be candidates.

I know Messi plays on the right or up front but I'm not dropping him.

Van Nistlerooy shoud probably be in there but I just hate him too much.

As valid a reason as any Grin.

I also don't understand the love in for Mascherano. He was a failure at WestHam, he hasn't exactly set the EPL alight with Liverpool either, yet he is making the WorldXI based on a few games in the ECL?

Other than Torres and Gerrard he's been Liverpool's most consistent player. He's pobably won more MOTM awards this season than anyone at our club. (Not hard I admit) Alonso doesnt get a look in. He had Kaka in his pocket in the last CL final. (until he was taken off) He's in the top 4 or 5 DMs in the world without a doubt. Light years better than Carrick.

Sorry Nem but Ferdinand for one of the best defenders about in the last 6 or 7 years? Maybe for a season or two 6 or 7 years ago, but not for 6 or 7 years straight. The guy is a lazy walking concentration lapse.

Robinson, Hutton, Woodgate, King, Chimbonda (Huddlestone 61), Lennon, Jenas, Zokora, Malbranque (Tainio 75), Berbatov, Keane (Kaboul 102).

The problem with Ferdinand is that everyone will remember his missed drug test fiasco and then associate him with being a "lazy walking concentration lapse." As a defender/player, he is light years ahead of everything in the EPL.
