Just seen he beat Roger Federer without even facing a break point the whole entire match- rather impressive!!!

Unlike in Cincinnati (when Murray last beat him), Federer was keen to win this one and was playing well - which makes the win even more impressive.

Wasn't this Federer's first competitive match since losing in the Australian Open semi-final? Wonder when the last time Federer lost consecutive matches was.

He did struggle a bit this time though - last set went to tie-breaker.

He's playing again now - this time against a Russian - and a pretty good Russian at that. Murray is currently 4-3 up in the first set but it's going with serve so far...
Watching the match (at work - there are some benefits to working for Sky!) and reading the BBC live commentary - purely for comments like:
"Not sure what has got into the crowd in Dubai so far - valium perhaps? - but this match has all the atmosphere and cutting edge of the battle for third prize in the village fete cherry bakewell competition. "

Davydenko is no mug, been in the top 5 for the last few years.
Murray is good and will be a top 10 player for a quite a few years imo. Whether he will go beyond that and win a grand slam or two is to be seen.
