Also Haye used to be a skinny fucker and then all of a sudden he changed. There were some pictures of him on Boxrec, with a two year gap and it looked like Haye was on at least a intensive program of creatin!

Below is the post from boxrec. Unfortunately the pictures are dead.

Quote
Like i have said on every Haye moving to heavy thread....
He is "only" moving up for the money and the glory
No way should he be tight at the weight, if he is then its only himself to blame.

He has been using weights and doing bodybuilding exercises rather than using weights for athletic enhancement...

I can see him know doing his dumbell curls and pec deck... rather than power cleans etc

Worth remembering ( someone please advise if i get something wrong)

2000 - Haye still fighting at 81kg on the day weigh in.. thats 12st 10
2001 - Haye wins a tremendous silver medal against Solis.... Solis was 91kg and Haye in an interview says he was giving away 5-6kg, making him about 85/86kg which again is on the day weigh in and inside the old cruiser limit...
2002 - Makes 91kg on the day for his commonwealth games brief appearance
2003 - turns pro... despite being non title contests he weighs in at the cruiser limit for most of his fights, not a sign of someone struggling with weight...

These pictures show how he has grown in 3 1/2 years... its mainly arms and pecs....hardly a core boxing requirement.... but essential for those modelling contracts Thumbs Up

His punch power is frightening and if he adapts he could rip through the heavyweight division.

Hopefully Macca comes back from that and can win the belts once Haye vacates them.

Yeah his punching is amazing.

Check out this you tube clip on him when he was 17. He fought my mate Peter Haymer, who was at the time, an ABA champion as well.

Also, has anyone seen Demetrius Hopkins fight before? He is an unbeaten Lightwelter who will be fighting Witter in a couple of weeks. Hopefully Witter can pull through and fight Hatton in the autumn.

I've not seen him fight but if Witter wins then the fight with Hatton has to happen.  Its a poor show from Hatton if it doesn't.
