Ok, Well Wednesday night I played the £30 Freezeout in Southend's MINT, 79 Runners which to be honest is pretty good for Southend, Deal was done for the bubble player, £30 off the top (alot of students where playing etc)

Well with 39 players left, and with 395,000 chips in play, I have  on the big blind and check with 3 runners.

The flop comes down,

Giving me obviously runner runner flush and gutshot straight.

anyway... blinds are at 400/800 and 2,400 and someone raise it (first to act) 1,200, call and I call

Turn comes

Now have Straight and 2nd nut flush draw

FIRST TO ACT, ALL IN, 2nd TO ACT ALL IN AND ME ALL IN, I have them both covered and there are over 100,000 chips in the pot. anyway I stand up and I take the pot down and table gets broke.

I then lost 23,000 on a AIPF with my Q's to A, K and Spiking his K on the river.

Final 4 playing.

1,800 to play for

£700
£500
£350
£250

Me: 125,000
Chip Leader: 150,000
2nd:80,000
3rd: 40,000

(Blinds are now 1,500 and 3,000)

3rd Place, Pushes all in, 2nd place call...

Now im holding    at this point am i putting 2nd place all in or hoping to call the 40,000 and spike trips or hope for no over cards and over pairs?

ANYWAY... I take the pot down, run into  and

Flop comes

  two hearts

Turn

River

Now have I made a stupid deal, nowing being a 2:1 chip leader

Now after losing it and making the chips 1:1 after my pocket 9's run into a massive pocket dueces to trip... Am I right doing a deal (other player offered) £575 each? and then all in and call next hand for the other £50? Yes we do some wierd things in southend, but had been playing for hours

I'm shoving. It's the 4th best starting hand in NLHE on the final table, with an all in and call in front of me. I want to go in ahead and if they suck out, then thats the gods for you.

If the chips were exactly even, then yes, by all means split it down the middle and play one hand for the odd 50 quid here and there. But I can't really comment without the chip counts and whether you thought you had an advantage heads up etc...

Ha ha, dont like either of the hands you described but dont think there is anything wrong with effectively splitting the prizes 50/50 if your even in chips!
