Funnily enough, them going to 10 men didn't necessarily help Liverpool.  they played with virtually the whole side behind the ball, making it difficult for Liverpool to break them down.  If they were attacking more it would suit Liverpool's counter-attacking style.

I wish I had your confidence... This ref is looking a bit dodgy for me.. And Babel looks like his head is going to blow off, yellow card a bit to early.. Give me that goal and ill be happy.
