Entry will be restricted to those players who have a blondepoker card-room account. Please provide account name if requested.

Is this not loosing the concept of "The Blonde Forum" ?

I thought that Blonde Bash's were for Forum members, not blonde poker card room members?

Surely a better way would be "Only open to Blonde forum members who have been a member for the last 6 months"

Just a question

Just a question

Because we might want to put on a £1,000,000.00 freeroll for everyone who has a card room account and comes to the blonde bash ...

Really though, why shouldnt we insist on everyone having an account on the cardroom, its not like we are saying that you have to have raked x amount, or earned a minimum of x poker points .... all we are asking is that people spend 5 minutes opening an account on the cardroom ... is it really that much of an issue ??

to me it is, or else I wouldnt ask the question.

I agree it does not take much time to spend to open an account Kev, hell, you dont even have to play on there!

The blonde forum itself is now generating income i assume - from the corporate banners. I just dont see the need to insist people open a blonde poker account to play the blonde bash.

just my opinion.

Ok Paul ... let me put it this way, People have no problem opening an account and DEPOSITING money on card rooms that we have negotiated added value for blonde members in .. it seems.

All we are asking is that to come to a blonde bash ... (note the name, its a "BLONDE" bash) , members register for an account on our cardroom .... Also, you have a blonde account, and have supported the cardroom in many ways, I really cant see why you are making an issue out of it.

I couldn't care less tbh as it doesnt affect me.

I try (and do) support Blonde wherever possible.

It's a fair question Paul, but we just decided it was the way we wanted to go.

Our Business Model relies to a large degree upon those who use the Forum, the News Page, & read the Updates migrating across to the Cardoom. But it's not working, there is very little migration, so as a Company, we decided this was the way forward. We much appreciate your support of blonde.

and this is the sole reason why we look for sponsors

More people using the card-room makes us self sufficient and less commercial in other areas

This is right too. Note it is now a condition of getting passwords for third party added value comps for blondes that you have a blonde card-room account

Preferably deposited into and actively playing...but thats down to the individuals

hard for us on a limited bankroll to play blonde as much as we like due to you giving us such excellent added value elsewhere

I know.

Its a fine balancing act. third party added value is the elephant. blonde's card-room is the beach ball it does its circus tricks on.

Lets hope the elephant does not burst the beach ball until some people are able to make our card-room fulfill its potential

until then, we have bills to pay

I know Paul. For the avoidance of doubt I wasn't referring to you.

It remains the case that many many people support our cardroom but we have a database of 8000+ and of those a fraction play monthly compared to the numbers that view forum.
