If not who is

Ronaldo and Rooney.
Messi/Ronaldinhio and Henry/Etoo.

Both competing definitley, quite a close one imo.

Rooney misses too many chances - Ronaldo carrys him to be held up for that sort of level of partnership.

On Form it would prob be Torres and Gerrard - they should play every week. I'd have those two in my world XI right now.

also I like Totti and the striker at Roma who's name escpaes me at the mo...

Hmmm, there are a lot of good front twos out there. Most notably in Spain.

Atletico have a decent front mid/att combo in Garcia and Aguero. I would pick Messi and Eto'o from Barca. Robinho/Van Nisterooy would be a contender if it didn't have Van Nistlerooy in it.

Then you cant write off Fabregas/Adebayor (or Van Persil next season)

Nando and Gerrard ar up there tho. Just a shame the rest of the team havent chipped in or we could be in the hunt for more trophies.

Rooney and Ronaldo.

The end.

i was in the pompey end for the fa cup quarters and uniteds front four from which you could pick any combo looked absolutely incredible in the flesh.

Box to box in seconds over and over again and how they didn't win that game is beyond me. Every time pompey lost the ball and one of nani, tevez, ronaldo or rooney got the ball the bloke behind me said 'danger'.

Rooneys first touch is definitely suspect though, if he masters it he will be a great instead of just very very good.

Its definitly not rooney and ronaldo all though i do rate both of them ronaldo never seems to produce the goods for man u in the really big games (probly get a few disagree here but both semis in cl he done nothing fa cup final did nowt and in other big games he's not performed)

Gerrard and Torres are up there just shame rafa felt the need 2 rest a fit torres every other week and theyd be doin lot better in the league. If ac milan had a quality striker id say kaka and ? but on form at the moment cant look past them to (it would've been fabregas and adebayor couple months ago)

Just hope my beloved toon beats the drop (cant believe were in this state) before a wish for some world class players

Surely Barton and Smith would be the worst in any division in any country (inc. sunday league)
