Another hand of great interest, Jari-Pekka Juhala gets it all in with Two Clubs two spades against the rather imposing of Antonio Battisti.
Flop:     Now we're interested...
Turn:    This means a three no longer gives the pot to the Deuces, but the spade is still live Smiley
River: three clubs

Battisti will probably be alright judging from his jacket - on it a list of the "greatest players" as you can probably make out, and although my Italian isn't so great, I think the list emphatically ends: 'Io' - 'Me.'

We simply can't keep up with the exits!!!!

We're down to 11!

First William Johnson gets all-in with on a board, but Ricardo Sousa has . No help for the American and he's gone.

Michael Schulze calls Jari-Pekka Juhola's all-in with , the board ends up a very entertaining:

three diamonds

And Juhola is OUT.

In the meantime Daniel Woolson doubles through Trond Eidsvig with vs after flopping a Queen.

Next!

Mehdi Ouakhir raises to 13k from the cut-off, Daniel Woolson calls in the small blind, and Sebastian Ruthenberg pushes from the big blind. Mehdi calls and Daniel folds

Sebastian:

Mehdi:

two spades three clubs two hearts

And after a brief countdown, Mehdi has about 5k more than the German, and my last pick is gone Sad

At the same time, Ricardo Sousa and Claus Nielsen are playing a huge pot on the other table.

Claus raises to 17k from UTG and Ricardo calls from the button.

Claus bets 44.5k and Ricardo calls.

Claus now fires out 56k and Ricardo calls after a dwell.

Two Diamonds

Claus checks, Ricardo bets 90k, Claus grimaces and passes.

Michael Schulze raises to 20k, crazy Italian Antonio Battisti re-raises to 80k, passed back to the German, who thinks for a moment and moves all-in, Antonio looks pained, but despite having nearly 250k left, calls!

Schulze shows

Antonio throws down

Two Diamonds

The Italian is out and Schulze is now on 700k.

Seriously, I have never seen so many people bust so quick in my life. It's utterly crazy, I hope it comes through in the updates, the sheer frenetic pace of exits, that all the reporters have really had to struggle to keep up with. It kinda feels we've done a days work in 2 hours!

La France Watch please

Some news about Jean-Claude Perrot ??

I am afraid he was our 11th place finisher (winning 100,520zloty / €28,456) minutes ago...

It was all in preflop for your last remaining Frenchman, with .  He was given a spin by Ricardo Sousa holding ...

The board brought straight away, so by the river he was hoping for just two outs... the river Two Diamonds wasn't one of them.

The multiple busting of both Michael Schulze and Ricardo Sousa have propelled their stacks to ridiculous heights in comparison to the others on their respective tables.  I am going to hazard a guess of 800k for Schulze and ONE MILLLLION for Sousa.

Chips counted by Lena of Pokerstars are on their way, though....

And faster than this very fast looking speedboat, today has covered a lot of ground super quickly, only to run aground moments ago bringing a halt to the chaos.

What I'm trying to say is that we're DOWN TO THE FINAL NINE in record time and play is over for the day!

These WERE the rough chip counts courtesy of Lina Olofsson from Pokerstars which were just not quick enough to preempt the busting of Nielsen.  But they give you a good idea of the texture of the final...

Michael Schulze    930000    304  (+237k)
Ricardo Sousa    830000    102
Juan Maceiras     492000    208
Mehdi Ouakhir     325000    203
Mathias Viberg    245000    104
Claus Nielsen     237000    305   (OUT)
Trond Erik Eidsvig     210000    201
Daniel Woolson     173000    206
Christian Öman     122000    107
Niclas Svensson    90000    103

Fastest. Day. Ever.

Niclas Svensson manages to double up his meagre stack with against Ricardo Sousa's .

Soon after, Juan Maceiras raises on the other table, Michael Schulze calls and then Claus Nielsen pushes. Daniel Woolson thinks in the big blind but folds. Juan gives up quickly but Schulze calls fairly fast and shows , Claus shows .

The board comes out and it's already looking bleak for Claus, a on the turn seals it and the river was just insult to injury.

Sad for Claus, who is a top guy whilst he was blogging on earlier EPT's, but he does take home €34,554 for his troubles.

The final table is tomorrow at 2pm (1pm UK) and Trond Eidsvig has made his THIRD final table of the season. Now that is sick.

See you all tomorrow after this turbo-update.
