Mon Mome for me at 33/1, best for over long trips and well weighted with the likes of Joes Edge and Simon on form from last year, stayed on well at Chelters too.

If your life depended on it is there anybody that wouldn't be on Cloudy Lane?

Just want to know if people don't think it'll win or think it'll win but won't back it at those odds.

Black Apalchi and Joaaci are the two long shots i've gone for.

I won't back it at those odds..and don't think it'll win...Mr Pointment has a good shout at winning it for me..haven't made my mind up yet though...there's just something about Cloudy Lane that makes me doubt it.

cloudy lane looks like he should run a great race and has the ideal going, but at 5/1 thers no value, ive backed him already, and will sell a bit if he drops to 5.5, theres a few horses like kings johns castle who i would of fancied a lot if the going was testing but it dosent look like it will be,the weather has been fine the last few days in liverpool. comply or die should run a great race on the ground and has decent form, 13.5 on the exchanges. after last years race it thought i would be backing mckelvey ,he ran a great race ,he was found to be lame after the race, the trainer says there is no problem with his legs but the bookies are offering 14/1, the 30/1+ the exchanges are offering may mean something is wrong so its put me off a bit, slim pickings must be another 1 to consider he will go on the ground ,ran a great race last year, and lots of money for him ,i wouldnt take 5/1 for cloudy lane, might be better having an ew bet on slim pickings at 12/1.

I'm firmly with Cloudy Lane, if it gets a clear round in I cannot see this getting beaten.
