This morning someone sent me an email about how 3 YO's got raped in South Africa and how the people that did it were being released on bail..and how the South African Child protection unit was to be closed down..so could I please sign a petition?

This sort of e-mail to me always only serves to point out the blatant stupidity of the sender and it goes to show there are too many thick people in the world. Google something before you send it on FFS, find out if the story you're reading is actually accurate. I dare say that ANY e-mail that someone sends you about a "disgrace" going on somewhere is probably a load of bollocks..
It is, what I consider to be to most annoying form of e-mails I can recieve and I ussually formulate a fairly agressive response to whomever sends it to me. (Ussually involving something along the lines of "How thick are you FFS, don't bother me with this crap again" and a few links proving that they are indeed idiots for believing the e-mail was accurate in the first place.)
I am OK with getting spam e-ails asking me to buy porn, viagra or sign up to dodgy casino's..atleast those guys are trying to sell me something or rip me off...but emails from the great unthinking I simply can not stand.
just had to get that off my chest.
p.s. the idiot that sent me that e-mail is sitting across from me in my office and doesn't look particularly happy with my response to him...at least that brightens up my day a bit.
