with mizzi on the direct left of linton i can see a huge hand developing where pete will raise from late pos, mizzi will 3 bet and pete will 4-bet jam with rags, mizzi decides he is priced in with 78ss which is ahead of lintons 24os until the board comes  JQKA2 shiiiiiiiiib

Wouldn't mind seeing Tim Blake and Conor Tate do well. Good luck to them. Pete doesn't need anymore luck.  Smiley

Apparently the final will be SIX-handed. Meaning we could be here for a while today.

We're still waiting for the players to set down.

This is the feature table:

John Conroy 3 1
John Kabbaj 3 2
Mazhar Nawab 3 3
Thomas Finneran 3 4
Anthony Fagan 3 5
Brian Antoniotti 3 6
Tony Salmon 3 7
Edwin Tournier 3 8

Hi folks!

Julian and Pete Linton just came over for a chat and were discussing what the day would have in prospect.

"This must be old hat for you!" laughed Pete.

"Ah, well....... you still get the old butterflies in your stomach..." observed the wordly wise Julian sagely to young gun Pete. I'm not sure but I think he might have added "....grasshopper."

I think the new hair with the tighter curls looks nice, although the pic is a little dark.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the whole update so far too, thanks guys.

We're off guys!

And it doesn't take long for the fireworks to commence. Brian Antoniotti shoving allin on the feature table and getting a call from Maz Nawab. On their backs gentleman.

Brian Antoniotti 7-7
Maz Nawab A-J

Let's race folks!

FLOP: A-J-T

"I liiiike..." thinks Maz.

TURN: Q (split maybe)

RIVER 2 (blankety blank)

....meaning Brian Antoniotti is OUT! An early casualty of the day and Maz increases his strong position yet further.

Surindar Sunar has knocked out Dominic Heaver with A-J vs J-2

Thewy just busted the awesomely named Jaka Faraz Quddus with vs three diamonds three clubs...Seven first card.

Belkacem Laouar has doubled up his meagre stack to 70k with vs on a two hearts board.
