Day one of APAT from Vienna, including some blonde interviews. Watch out as the Duke reveals a previously unknown playing technique, and Kingpoker puts his title on the line with the monster that is . Apologies in advance for the....erm....music.

Hopefully that will be the last we hear of Des' incidental music collection! With regard to the upcoming Scottish National Event on May 3rd/4th, there are a number of ways in which you can get a seat. On Saturday the 5th April, the regional events run across the country which include qualification for the Edinburgh National Event. These have a £20 buy-in with no fee. Details can be found at www.apat.com/forum/index.php?topic=1261.0On Sunday 6th and Monday 7th April, we run qualifiers on Blue Square. The remaining seats are then available directly on this website (£75 a seat) ( usually from 9pm) on Tuesday 8th April.

A few questions about the Dtd heat on 12th april.
Is it limited to 80 seats?
Is it a feeder for Scottish championship?
Do you have to renew your APAT membership every year as I don't think I've had any APAT emails in 2008. i was a member when it started. Joined via PP magazine?
Do you need to quote an APAT membership number at Dtd when/if you play on 12th?
Cheers

can you register for DTD in advance?
will it be finished in time for the evening comp?
I need to know as it's a right old jolly day out for me and I'm excited already.

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k. “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi. Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

I played yesterdays event at the Maybury. It was well run and the people were all very friendly. It was good to meet Apothocary and McCool for the first time and Eck and Geo again. I went out in 13th unfortunately but had fun all the same. I'll be doing more of these for sure in the future. Good luck on your next games all!
