Registering an interest to be Captain of the Isle of Man.

(and yes, I do have Manx blood through my nan's side of the family) Wink

The provisional entry list features international teams from England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Germany, France, Italy and Hungary.

Surely provisional means "can be changed"?

They weren't in the original list, but it is only provisional.  Tantrum might want to enter a team.

You can fill in the Casino Membership Form via this link and complete your registration by showing identification at the venue from 12.00pm on your first day of play.

PRIZES

World Amateur Poker Championship

1st:  A payment of £3,500 + Engraved World Amateur Championship Cup + Gold Medal + Grosvenor UK Poker Tour Grand Final Package + 18 ranking points + Significant Media Exposure.

The Grosvenor UK Poker Tour Grand Final package comprises an expenses paid entry worth in the region of $8,000.

2nd: £2,250 + Silver Medal + 17 ranking points.

3rd:  £1,250 + Bronze Medal + 16 ranking points.

4th to 9th:  £600 each + 10 to 15 ranking points.

10th to 18th:  £400 each + 1 to 9 ranking points.

19th to 20th:  £400 each.

Alternates will be allowed the opportunity to take part during the first two levels.

An additional prize of £75 will be created as a result of each alternate who is allowed to enter.  This money will be awarded to the players finishing directly outside the above prize pool, so if for example 4 alternates take part in the event, then finishing positions from 21st to 24th will each win back their buy in of £75.

Under our terms & conditions, APAT will not support deal making.  This is a unique International Championship event and the onus is on every player to try their utmost to win it outright.

Do I need to bring the credit card I paid online with or is payment all sorted?  I seem to recall seeing somewhere that payments weren't taken at the time of booking seats on the online system.
