on a serious note i thought we were terrible. should have been playing against 10 men, dont know if that would have made any difference at the end of the day. Not over yet tho.

hmmmmm...... clutchin at straws! game was scrappy but think we deserved it overall-macgregors save ranks up there with one of the best saves i've seen in an old firm game-as good as gorams against big pierre van hoojidonk

Not particularly, the game went as I thought it would, no real surprise was it?

I wouldn't say it was clutching at straws Thomson wasalready on a yellow card and blatently cheated to try and con the ref into giving a penalty against Samaras, the ref never even gave a free kick as it was outside the box if thats the case then he must book Thomson for diving.  so should have been a red card.

That said I though the ref had a fairly decent game, he must have been from one of the more tolerable lodges. Smiley

Overall Celtic failure lies with the manager.  He got his selection and formation wrong - AGAIN!!!

We knew Rangers would play 9 behind the ball and one up front yet Strachan plays 4 in the middle one of those a passenger in Nakamura although that was probably one of his better games yesterday in terms of posession we needed a bit more dig.

As for the striking partnership Samaras has shown that he plays better coming off the bench as an impact player and JVOH has been pretty shit since we signed him, yet Strachan decides to play these 2 up top and leave the top goalscorer in Scottish football on the bench.

The mind baffles.

Strachan must go now, we need favours to have any chance of retaining the title I suspect that Rangers will drop points but I have no faith in Celtic to go unbeaten while that Ginger tit is at the helm.

4 games against the Loyal Cardigan 4 defeats with no goals thats just not acceptable.

He thinks it is acceptable to remain philisophical to the point of being jovial after losing what in effect was a title decider to rangers, IT ISN'T.

He thinks that it is his duty as manager of Celtic Football Club is to do all he can to help the Scottish International set-up, IT ISN'T.

He thinks that the identity of Celtic is, or should be, Scottish, IT ISN'T.

He thinks that many of the current 1st team squad are of the standard to play for Celtic, THEY AREN'T.

He thinks that Gary Pendrey is an able coach, HE ISN'T.

And if he thinks that the supporters are prepared to put up with another year of what we have just endured, HE IS WRONG.

Pretty impressive for a guy carrying an injury. What is it he has? groin strain? syphillis?

strachan = mcleish  terrible tactictians but generally very lucky managers
oneill = smith         efficient, tactically negative, but all round winners. based sucess on great team spirits
burns = advocatt    most free flowing attack minded managers, easily the most entertaining football played
barnes = le guen    both lasted 6 months odd, very poor at building a team spirit amongst other things

Pardon the irony of me making this comment but this is the same manager that has taken you to a new level in the Champions League, including beating AC Milan!!
