you think we will get 34 runners for a $100 buy in ??
Yeh and im not taking the fun out of the wednesday night 10k at all, but its just i love the banter and spirit involved but i havent played 10 dollar tournaments since i first started.
Id quite happily play the 25K on the sunday to support the cardroom, but I just feel there is a gap for us medium stakes players. I have supported blonde in pretty much every promotion you have done since i joined up, but im sure ppl are willing to pay more than 5 quid (maybe not 50) but there has to be some middlish ground. Im not an expert on Ipoker as I play rarely on it unless its summat to do with blonde, so maybe a list of tourneys would be helpful for me.
p.s. Id have played in the sat tonight but its hard for me to support a sat for a tourney which is 4 hours away from me.
KP mate ....you can take the cash!!
Oops, my bad, but i think im right in saying that was the first time that option has been given....?
And in truth, and its not hard to firgure out why, but i do have a soft spot for luton, and probably would have been tempted to use the buy in option anyway lol.
That's what I like about this weekly Wednesday night madness. Sure, it's a small buy in and you're up against some donkey players at the start, but I try to take it as serious as I would a $100 buy in and hope that my game will improve because of it. If I were to enter it on my own, I'd probably get frustrated and be knocked out much earlier Having so many good players from Blonde in the mix tends to motivate me and hopefully some of you too. One thing I've learned...I've some serious work to do on my end game.
You're not always going to be playing against great players, even in a larger buy in event. Granted, the donkeys may be few and far between, but there are still some who have more money than sense and will get lucky with less than stellar hands. You only have to read the Sunday thread to see that. I don't think aiming for a larger buy in will solve everyone's problems, but I could maybe join ye in a $50 now and then. Just don't see it happening weekly.
Very true but the structure at the higher buy in is much better, and actually involves a bit of space to move. I havent played a tourney like the 10k for a long while where u get short so quickly. Im not sure if this is iPoker wide or just the fact its a fiver tounreament.
(its basically the same rant I used to have about the skypoker tournaments)
WPD tho as IMO it takes huge skill to battle thru one of these and you have consitently done that, gg!
