Play has ground to a halt momentarily whilst they double check the chip count of David Stratton. David seems convinced that he should have something nearer the 200k mark, instead of the 160k that he has come back to after the break.

Incidentally, David Stratton is the obvious winner of T-Shirt Of The Day, with this very yellow dog-in-a-crown number:

Er, Jim Moult seems to have exited with the very minimum of fuss (ie without me or Snoopy actually seeing it). Hopefully we'll get the story shortly though...

We've lost another in the form of Jim Moult, the bookie's odds looking sour as he pushed in with A-9, only to find Chris Bruce waking with the ladies (which I have done many a time). No help on the board, and Jim exits in 10th.

Chris Bruce is taking no prisoners, he just pushed all-in over the top of Garinder Purewal's button raise and subsequently forced the youngster to fold.

"He looks like someone you can bubbly," observes Matt Tyler, "but he's a little ginger terrier." (Matt may have said terror, but I'm pretty sure he was comparing Chris to a dog instead.)

And ladies and gentlemen, we a re down to our final table!

Legged it over when it looked like someone was all in, so let's for the sake of argument say that the chips went in preflop.

Xia Zhenru - A-T
Chris Bruce - 4-4

Board - 9-K-7-2-4

And with much handshaking, and accompanied by Wandering Pregnant Lady who turns out to be Mrs Zhenru, Xia makes his exit.

Largely obscured by the very large, very round head of Mr Matt Tyler:

Handshakey under the watchful gaze of Paul Jackson:
