The players are just returning from a ten minute break. You guys haven't been saying much recently, but I can just sense you're oozing with the same level of excitement and anticipation as I am for the conclusion of this event.

Garinder Puerwal was spotted fuming on the rail. He's not out, merely letting off some steam away from the table. I didn't catch the entire hand, but with the board reading Two Diamonds , Garinder couldn't resist calling a 60k bet (pot was circa 100k) from Chris Bruce with top pair. Brucie had for the straight.

There are plenty of chips on the table, making chip counts a little trickier than normal, but DTD just about get away with it without needing to colour up. As a result, the never seen before 25k chips are denied a run-out and will have to wait until the Norwegian Poker Championships before making their long awaited debut. However, as an exclusive treat for all our devoted blonde viewers, we have been given permission by the good people at DTD to publish the first ever photo of the still brand spanking new 25k chips, in all their orangey glory. The excitement simply doesn't end here on blonde.

Action has been a little sloooow on our final table. At the end of one blind-on-blind confrontation (have been quite a few of those), which terminated with Kevin Lund making a bet in position on the turn after he and Chris Bruce checked the flop, Mr Lund commented, "Whoever bets first..." Indeed.

The most exciting moment I witnessed was when Kevin limped utg - it was commented on that may have been the first flat call since they went into the final table... Anyway, it got everyone in the mood, and Chris Bruce also limped from the button, Garinder made up the blind, and big blind Alan Stearn didn't spoil the party by raising or anything and merely checked. The flop was checked around to Chris, who bet a not-very-big 40k. Garinder and Alan folded. "Do you want me to call?" asked Kevin. "Did you limp in with Aces and hit a set again?" counters Chris. Kevin passes.
