I came across a Press Release by Absolute Poker, & they have, it seems, taken over Royal Vegas Poker.

Two bits caught my eye, the first by Joe Norton, a former Kahnawake chief and owner of Towkiro Enterprises ENRG, which holds a 100% interest in Absolute Poker.

He said, in one of those pieces of PR-speak that makes you do a double-take.........

"......Today's online gaming community demands and expects a transformative gaming experience that seamlessly integrates superior technology, responsiveness to customer needs, and a safe and secure environment in which to play...."

So there you have it. Safe & secure.

It goes on to eulogise the "widely recognized" Serinda Swan

Serinda Swan, Guess Model and The Face of Absolute Poker, has become the "It Poker Girl." The 22-year-old model from Vancouver has been featured in Absolute Poker's TV commercials, print campaigns, and as you can see, on our website. Yuk. I just hate to see poker dumbed down like that, & girls so debased. Sign of the times I suppose.

Why do Poker Sites never use Trains to glamourise poker?
