Scottish footie is a disaster..this just goes to show just how weak it really is if you take out the big two.

That's absolute rubbish. Scottish football has been brilliant recently, some really entertaining games and good runs in Europe for Rangers, Celtic and Aberdeen.
We were awful in defence today but QoS played well and deserved to go through, good luck to them in the final.
Scottish footie has been brilliant this year compared to recent years..that doesn't mean it's not very weak.
Aberdeen are a very poor side as are Hibs, Hearts, Motherwell, Dundee Utd and the others. Celtic and Rangers are the only two half decent sides in Scottish football (and even they are not all that good).
Really that is the case..honestly. Nice to see that the Scottish national side did OK and that Rangers are on a good run in the Uefa Cup but that doesn't mean that it's any good.
Scottish footie doesn't amount to much in the same way that Dutch, Belgian, French and Portuguese footie doesn't amount to much. (And the last two nations have had a team in the CL final in the last few years).
Every league that doesn't have a lot of money and only two or three teams that dominate is essentially a weak league. In Holland we are lucky that we consistently churn out decent youngsters and that means that out National side is still OK but even we don't kid ourselves that our league is OK like the Scots seem to do.
