Ever so slightly off topic here, but does anyone remember "My Mother the Car"?

Oh God!! Nostalgia attack... nostalgia attack....

The show must have been re-hashed. Claw and Silo can't possibly be old enough to remember the original.

I don't know when it was made, but it was shown regularly in the early 80s

I'm guessing that the original (Black and white) version was broadcast around 1964.

Also at this time, "Mr ED" (A talking horse) and "The Magic Boomerang"

The Littlest Hobo.  Gentle Ben.

OMG!

I thought I was the only one who remembered "The littlest Hobo"

A drifter, the world is his friend
He's travelin, along the road, without end.

For some unknown reason a song sung regularly on the football bus on the way back from away games (usually with a lot of drink having been taken). We have a strange repetoire - The Gambler, Leavin on a Jet Plane, Sweet Caroline etc

for some reason it's my group of friends sort of anthem, gets sung a couple of times a year with much gusto.
